If you're not a grizzly bear, you'll need to travel to our wedding, and if Big Oil didn't give you a card entitling you to free gas for life, you'll probably be taking a plane. WE RECOMMEND BOOKING AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE.
Many major airlines have flights to Anchorage. Some of the airlines are so excited for you to come to Alaska that they are offering Davidson/Malamy wedding discounts! Also, look into using frequent flier miles.

Once you arrive in Anchorage, you'll need to take a short flight in a small plane (25-35 minutes) to either Kenai (if you're staying in Ninilchik, near Andrea's parents' house) or Homer (if you're staying in Homer, where the wedding is). Driving is an option but it's a 4 hour trip. There are two airlines that offer these flights. We've flown both and have found them to be quite reliable.

Rental Cars
If you are flying into Homer and want to rent a car, we recommend reserving ASAP. They have a limited number of cars, and it is very unlikely you will get one last minute. Here are a few options to look into:
